The backbone of this route's connectivity is the Marschall Road Transit Station (located at Hwy 169 and Co. Rd. 17). This facility serves as a major Park & Ride lot featuring MVTA Shakopee Services: 

  • Parking Capacity: A large park-and-ride lot offering 400 free parking spaces for commuters.
  • Station Amenities: Includes an indoor, climate-controlled waiting area, bike racks, free public Wi-Fi, and a station to purchase or reload regional Go-To transit fare cards.

From the Marschall Road Transit Station, riders can seamlessly connect across the MVTA network: 
  • Route 493 (Express Service): Connects Shakopee drivers directly to Downtown Minneapolis during weekday commuter hours. 
  • Route 497 (Westbound Local): The fixed local loop highlighted in the image that routes west through Shakopee to the Scott County Government Center. 
  • Route 499 (Eastbound Local): A complementary local loop routing east toward the Shakopee Walmart.
  • Route 495 / 4FUN (Regional Entertainment Connection): A daily route linking the transit station to massive regional attractions, including Mystic Lake Casino, Canterbury Park, Valleyfair, the Twin Cities Premium Outlets, and the Mall of America.
